We discuss needs and commitment, location, and more at the latest node-K meeting
- Meeting started at 18:00 with ~30 people in the meeting container in Makerspace Carinthia
- Gave a recap of the last meeting
- Did a survey on needs and commitment survey_results.pdf
- Short introduction to get an overview of where everyone is from and what they do
- Short overview of the new website, domain, and other developments
- Showed the newly created entry in the Hackerspace Wiki ( https://wiki.hackerspaces.org/Node-K )
- Short overview of possible locations (Makerspace 1 vs container room)
- Made an almost unanimous decision on the location (Makerspace 1 is prefered, but we also talked about the lack of accesibility (no elevator))
- Presented the new Lauti instance ( https://carinthia.space )
- Presented Martin's event calendar ( https://carinthia.events - not yet publicly available)
- Presented the node-K matrix server ( chat.node-k.at )
- Snacks and Beer provided by Startup Carinthia
- Next steps: Find a group of organizers, talk to Makerspace regarding location, clarify the structure of the Hackerspace, maybe fix an appointment with CCC regarding help with founding
